Reflection | Maus Genocide Weebly
This artifact is webpage that I worked with a group of colleagues to create where we assigned different activities dealing with the Holocaust. Over the course of the semester, I worked with these same colleagues for different novels, but in this case we all came together to create a cohesive plan.
I chose this artifact because after working together the other teachers and I developed not only a sense of each others’ abilities but also an idea of what we would want s teacher. In this online page we were each able to showcase how our relationship works together to foster the cognitive, linguistic, physical, and social and emotional development of our students.
This artifact meets this standard because the Weebly displays the cumulation of working with fellow colleagues to address to address a specific topic. Although we worked together throughout the semester, this Weebly showcases our final product for a unit on genocide.
This artifact is an appropriate representation of this standard because it was essential that we effectively communicate between each other to create a final product that would cater to our students needs. Without working as a team, we would have created a final product that lacked cohesion or the ability to apply to real-life teaching.
This artifact represents my personal growth and development as a teacher because it served as the final project for our novel unit in my CI 403 class. As we worked together throughout the year, we developed a sense of community and ability that fostered positive relationships between each of us.
This artifact indicates my knowledge of the standard because it specifically addressing working with others. In order to execute this assignment, we had to communicate ideas, set goals, and meet deadlines in order to maintain a professional attitude with each other.

Reflection | Co-Teaching Lesson
This artifact is a lesson plan that I created that required the teachers working with each other and the students for a successful and engaging lesson. In this lesson I called on my co-operating teacher as well as the other co-teacher in my class to act out a scene in The Tragedy of Julius Caesar. We wanted to act it out to switch the routine of reading aloud, summarizing, watching the movie, or allowing students to act it out.
I chose this lesson to highlight my ability to work with others and implement strategies that incorporate all available teachers into the lesson. After seeing the students struggle with Julius Caesar, my cooperating teacher, my co-teacher, and I collaborated with each other to create a rich and meaningful lesson to the students that would present the knowledge in a more meaningful way.
This artifact meets this standard because it shows a real life experience where I worked not only with my cooperating teacher but also the co-teachers and students to create a lesson built collaborative relationships. We worked together to develop and perform the lesson.
This artifact is an appropriate representation of this standard because with the co-teacher I was able to create a lesson where both of us were actively involved. Even though I acted out the scene with the co-teacher and my co-operating teacher, we reverted to discussing the scene together. Because of that, I needed to share and plan the other teacher in order to seem prepared an organized in front of the class.
This artifact demonstrates my personal growth and development as a teacher because before I could effectively preform this lesson, I needed to know my students and know my teachers enough to be comfortable. Then, I needed to work on our communication and planning together in order to create a lesson that worked and flowed well for both of us.
This artifact indicates my performance of this standard because together we effectively planned and taught the students to engage them in the material.
